Summary:
Under direction of Building supervisor, helps patients to find their way in the new building.
Welcomes patients and guides them to their respective offices with directions or personally walking them to their doctor's office.
Assists with handicap patient access to the building including assembling wheelchairs and guiding patients from parking lot into the building.
May also help with projects related to the new building.
Examples are stuffing envelopes for patient appointment reminders, helping patients download our EMR app on their iPhone, preparing conference rooms for seminars.
Assists with patient satisfaction and customer service.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Greet patients and visitors promptly.
Assist patients and family members or other customers with concern and empathy; respect their confidentiality and privacy and communicate with them in a courteous and respectful manner.
Consistently demonstrate ability to respond to changing situations in a flexible manner in order to meet current needs, such as reprioritizing work as necessary.
Maintain work area in a neat and orderly fashion.
Attend meetings as required.
Demonstrate flexibility to perform duties wherever volume deems it necessary within the office.
BASIC KNOWLEDGE:
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Skill in greeting patients with a strong customer service focus.
Ability to speak clearly and concisely.
Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions given in English.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers (patients, physicians, coworkers, vendors, supervisor, etc.
).

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
