The News Department of WPRI 12 & FOX Providence is seeking a candidate with commercial television experience as an anchor for our 5:30pm newscast and Multimedia Journalist. Must be aggressive and able to contribute to daily story ideas and gather and write reports for newscasts and wpri.com. Must have dynamic on-camera communication skills. We want a high energy, engaging talent who is a strong storyteller and can handle breaking news situations in a fast paced environment. Reporting, shooting and editing for our broadcasts and websites are requirements for this position.
community
involvement in this position is a must. If you just want to read the news, this is not the job for you. 3-5 years experience. Degree or related experience preferred. Must have valid drivers license.
