HOSPICE AREA VICE PRESIDENT OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CT, NJ, RI

The Hospice Area Vice President of Business Development is responsible for implementing and carrying out the sales initiatives set forth by the company, throughout his/her established territory, and to support the day-to-day business development operations. This includes assisting the account executive in establishing and developing new business contacts; maintaining current relationships; developing and implementing a sales and marketing plan. The position will require extensive overnight travel and timely completion of required reports, summaries and recommendations.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in business and/or management preferred.
2. Five (5) years sales experience.
3. Two (2) years home health care and/or hospice sales experience.
4. One (1) year supervisory experience within healthcare industry preferred.
5. Competent organizational skills.
6. Ability to handle stressful situations/deadlines.
7. Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Must demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with all members of the health care delivery team.
9. Demonstrates the ability to support the philosophy, objectives and goals of the home health agency.
10. Forecasts needs, sets priorities.
